What should you do to prepare for your chimney to be swept?
Please ensure the fire is out and the appliance is cold.
If possible arrange for a parking place close to the property.
Remove any delicate ornaments, pictures from or around the appliance.
Clear the area around and the path to the appliance.
Let your sweep know of any potential problems, e.g. nests or blockages
My aim is to control all dust and dirt, but some may be inevitable when removing nests and blockages.
